The WRBC encourages all members to support the levy on the ballot Tuesday May 17th.
The purpose for which the two-year levy shall be used is to pay the lawful expenses to repair, design and construct sidewalks, bike paths, trails and bike-pedestrian infrastructure within existing streets, rights-of-way and public property to more safely move pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles on key streets through Hailey, for the two fiscal years beginning October 1, 2016, and ending September 30, 2018. The date of the City’s special levy election is May 17, 2016. The amount estimated to be collected from the two-year levy is Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000) each year for the two fiscal years for a total of Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800,000).
